I normally do not write reviews; however, it was reading other's previous reviews that convinced me to book this location that was half way around the world. If my review of Imbabala may convince someone else to book here, then my time was well-spent. We stayed 3 nights and it was perfection from beginning to end. The management, Brad &... More

We stayed only two nights which was a mistake but we had pre booked our next stop so had to leave, but would recommend anyone to have more than 2 nights. I was dismayed to read a previous review of the " management of Brad and Annie", our experience with them was amazing and they couldn't do enough for us.... More

Wonderful hospitality from Brad, Annie and staff. Expert advice on animals, plants and birds from our ever patient guide Jefferson. We did a game drive and river trip each day and saw at close quarters elephants, giraffes, hippos, kudu, sable, mongoose, all sorts of exotic birds and even the odd snake. On the final night we encountered a lioness who... More

A couple of points up front: The guides and workers there are great. Jefferson, Abraham, and the rest of the staff provided tremendous tours and expertise. My evaluation is not a direct reflection on them, but on the experience as a whole. Secondly, the management changed hands around May of 2012, so you may want to take that into account... More

We loved our stay at Imbabala Zambezi Safari Lodge -- truly a wonderful experience. The staff was helpful and welcoming, our guides were wonderful. We never saw another vehicle on our game drives or another boat on our river cruises. We did see plenty of animals, and we particularly loved the impalas that slept outside our room and the elephants... More

Very much enjoyed our stay here.Brad,Annie,Stan and others could not have been more welcoming. We enjoyed the game drives and although we did not see a vast amount we knew in advance that this was the green season and so game would be hard to find. The evening river cruise was lovely and day in Botswana very enjoyable with wonderful elephants bathing... Such a beautiful tranquil place. After the rains the bush was lush and green but, we were lucky enough to see much of the wildlife out on a game drive including a pack of "painted dog". In the afternoon of 20 February we saw over 60 giraffe, beautiful graceful creatures. We also saw a couple of leopards, leopard tortoises that... More

Beautiful location, excellent Chef and Rangers. Facility itself requires a make over which we heard is planned for this February. The boat trips on the Zambezi are magical. The night game drives are fabulous. The management also needs to provide a fuller High Tea type menu in the late afternoon as it is a long time between brunch and a... More

There were 7 of us visited the property in August 2012. We chose this place purely by reading commentaries from Tripadvisor. And it turned out to be an excellent choice. It took us 24 hours from Hong Kong through Johannesburg, Livingstone, Victoria Falls to reach this paradise at the juncture of Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia. We spent two wonderful... More

The lodge is situated overlooking the Zambezi river. The accommodation was excellent and the staff courtious , friendly and very helpful. Food first class.. This all made for a most relaxed atmosphere . Game could be viewed from either land or from the river. I have reluctantly only given very good , not because of anything to do with the... More
