My room was clean I had electricity, even air conditioning, and clean running water. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they couldn't do enough for me. I loved the pool concidering it was 38-39 degrees every day I was there. There was not a lot of choice food wise but considering the circumstances I still ate quite well. (The... more

Stay away of this guy, a professional racketeer who sells sculptures in this hotel. He promised to send the sculptures abroad, and after a lot of money sent I'm still waiting. The hotel employees doesn't have manners and I'm only going to say that I saw the biggest spider ever inside of my room. Needless to say that I didn't... more

Stayed at the Kingdom for one night (28/03/09). Very disappointed. Clearly had once been a high quality hotel, but no more. Virtually empty. Staff standing around with nothing to do. Security suspect (guard carrying rifle around the pool complex) and worst of all very little food. Rooms clean. Would only accept US $ cash. Was glad we only stayed one... more

is the typical huge resort hotel for groups. The service is very friendly and the staff try to do its best, also if the local situation is very difficult. The location is excellent, few minutes walk from the falls and in the "central" area of the village, close to the market. It's incredible and must be appreciated how the staff... more

I recently returned from a great holiday in Vic Falls Zimbabwe and Botswana organised by African Exclusive Travel who did an absolutely great job! My stay in Vic falls was at the Kingdom hotel. The design of hotel from outside was very impressive and it had all the facilities than one could hope for. The hotel was close to all... more

Spent 3 nights at the Kingdom Hotel as part of an incentive group. While Zimbabwe is extremely short of everything, when the political climate normalises, it will re-claim it rightful place. Hotel staff are all too willing to do anything for you and really to to compensate for the shortage of various items. It's really sad to see how politics... more

We stayed at the Kingdom solely because we failed to bring $2,000.00 US with us when we traveled to Vic Falls. Zimbabwe has no way of accessing cash via ATM and the Western Union had been down for six months. If one desires to see the falls and book at least one excursion, pay for visas, and get out of... more

Moved here after one night of their horrednous sister property, The Victoria Falls Hotel, just next door. New with a bit of a theme-park feel/Vegas vibe - complete with casino. Rooms can face the park, which you may see animals from. Hotel also has a pathway to Victoria Falls. Lovely open air restaurant. Very firendly helpful staff. Breakfast buffett -... more

The hotel is good, but currently has very low occupancy. It had clean running water, & electricity unlike Harare. Safe in the hotel & reasonably safe in the town (if you can call it that) of victoria falls. Good value for money in US$. more

The building and grounds of The Kingdom are very nice and modern. The problems I had with the hotel I think stem more from the general economic problem with Zimbabwe than with the hotel itself. But those economic problems resulted is a rather unpleasant stay. I never felt unsafe, but I did feel uncomfortable. Because the economy is so bad... more
