We stayed here for 3 nights and had an enjoyable time. While staying there amid the post elections confusion the resort had a plesantly relaxed and airy feel. I'd reckon only a small number of rooms where actually occupied. Which suited us well as I don't really want to experience when all of their 294 rooms are fully booked. The... more

I'd like to say that I came away with a positive experience in Zimbabwe and The Kingdom, but I don't think I can. Most of the issues are not directly the fault of The Kingdom or the people of Zimbabwe, but it certainly sours the experience. The resort and the hotel itself are okay. No real problems. The bed isn't... more

The Kingdom was a bit of a revelation - and in a good way. We had previously stayed at the Vic Falls Hotel and paid considerably more for the privilege, so The Kingdom was a pleasant surprise at far more reasonable rates. The pool area is superb and the restaurant was great, especially the buffet - as with most places... more

We stayed at the Kingdom for 4 nights at the end of September. The hotel is comfortable in all respects and the staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful. The hotel has a magnificent pool area and a pool bar which serves snacks and drinks. There is a gate at the one end of the hotel that leads down a path... more

Ilala Lodge was my original choice but since it was a much smaller hotel, it was fully booked. My one night stay at Kingdom was pleasant, though it was one out of the three nights I was at Victoria Falls. My room faced the forest and there is a big balcony. One was cautioned to close the glass doors to... more

We stayed two nights at the Kingdom at Victoria Falls in mid May 2007. We booked through a travel agent in South Africa and our rate was $222 USD per night inclusive of breakfast. Although one cannot and should not expect perfection in Zimbabwe, especially in the current climate, there were aspects of the hotel that could have been a... more

Our stay at The Kingdom was fantastic. The people were so friendly and were willing to go out of their way to ensure our comfort. They even sent a member of staff with us to the market near town so that we wouldn't be bothered on our way. The actual accomodation is lovely, although you can't see the falls from... more

We included Victoria Falls in our self arranged packaged holiday to South Africa. If it is just the Falls you want to see I would suggest one night is sufficient. The hotel itself is in a very pleasant setting with the emphasis on natural surroundings.Unfortunately the hotel staff and ameneties find themselves a victim of the present political situation in... more

Stayed in The Kingdom for 2 nights in early December. Walking distance to the Victoria Falls. Buffet Breakfast is excellent. Lot of items with good quality. However hotel occupancy rate is about 20% during our stay. Looks like more staff than tourists. It is very expensive to buy curios from the hotel. Just go to the curios market in the... more

This hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff efficient and friendly. However its very disneyland. The building looks very fake. Close to the Falls but the walk in the heat maybe to much. Any one worried about visiting Zimbabwe, don't be. Although Brits pay the most for their visa ($55 US) it was an easy transit through the airport. The... more
