Four of us stayed here on Sept 21 to 24/09. All of us really enjoyed Amadeus Garden. Rooms were very adequate and clean. There is a great little pool for a swim in the hot afternoons. Amadeus Garden is a fantastic place in Victoria Falls, and it has the best value for money; it´s not very expensive and it´s a very nice guesthouse, very clean, with a very nice staff and less than 3km far from the Falls. If we come back to Victoria Falls in the future, we´ll stay in Amadeus Garden again more

Swiss familly of 5 travelleing from Botswana-Namibie then Zimbawe we spend few wonderful days at Amadeus Garden. Hartmut (the owner) received us perfectly with frienship. He also help us in different ways. The rooms surrounding the pool are wery wery pleasant and confortable. more

Very nice guest house, well-kept place, well situated in a quiet quarter of the town, but still everything within walking distance. Personal atmosphere is an excellent contrast to the big lodges. Very friendly and helpful personnell, for arrangement of activities, transfers, tips for restaurants etc. Easily recommendable and my choice for next time again. more

Stayed at Amadeus for 2 nights in late June 2009 with my husband and parents. We deliberated at length whether to stay in Zim or Zambia but chose Zim due to the better viewing of the Falls. This was a great place to stay. Rooms were clean, grounds were in excellent shape and staff was more than helpful. Breakfast was just OK but more than sufficient. Quiet atmosphere. Other hotels closer to the falls have a better location so you don't have to fool with cabs, but taxis are only $6 back and forth so save the... more
