I have had to stay at the Innisfree Apartments as a last resort as accommodation in Gaborone is so scarce. The first time, my room had a shower door hanging off it and I luckily took my own pillow. The neighbours were so noisy I had to ask them to be quiet and the smell of curry from the neighbouring room was overpowering.
Breakfast was simple and passable if you could stand listening to the staff talking at the top of their voices.
The next time I found myself stuck for accommodation, I was given a room in the Inisfree Guest house. Shower was great although the panel for the alarm system was just above the shower head and the door of the panel was gaping open for water to splash in so I was terrified of being electrocuted.
The walls are a bright pink and the doors a bright orange. The curtains dont shut (only one net curtain for a double window and some tatty cream curtains. The door to the toilet / shower cant open as the bed is so close.
At least it was newly...
