There are two Planet Lodges in Gaborone. I stayed at Planet Lodge #2 on South Ring Road. This is a very mixed review. The problems I encountered were all due to the staff, rather than the Lodge itself.
Some rooms have en-suite bathrooms and others share bathrooms. I booked an en-suite room, but when I arrived, there was not an en-suite room for me. The room I did get was spacious and exceedingly well appointed, but was a shared bathroom situation. This situation was rectified for the 2nd and 3rd nights, and I had an even larger room. Breakfast was rather skimpy and was brought to the room on a tray, and there didn't seem to be much choice of time of arrival of the tray.

I enquired about sightseeing tours, did they have any brochures? I was told a definite "no", such things were only available at the main hotel Planet Lodge #1. The following day, snooping around the lobby, I found a whole stash of brochures.
