The Grand Palm - now called the Walmont Ambassador - is certainly the best hotel within hundreds of miles. The rooms are comfortable, if a bit used. The grounds are beautifuly landscpaed and fit well with the surrounding bush. The Grand Palm is a great hotel and certainly the best in Gaborone. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful, although they can be a bit slow at time.
