The hotel is situated outside the city center. The rooms were neat and clean but is need of an upgrade for the price they charge. I find their rates quite excessive. Front desk staff was quite helpful. Special parking should be allocated to hotel guests. Guests are charged an entrance fee to the casino. No free wi fi and breakfast... More

Stayed at the sister hotel Metcourt on previous visit but the room was too cramped, booked at the Walmont for a better experience but was not impressed. Old run down rooms, need a upgrade - the Metcourt was in better shape. Nice view from the room of the pool area, good restaurants down stairs. Bad bad news for business travellers,... More

I stayed 2 nights on business. It's a pity that the hotel has not been revamped since the early days when it was still the Sheraton. The bathrooms require serious renovation with paint peeling off the walls. The Beef Baron remains the single main reason to stay- the quality of the food has remained since it first opened and it... This hotel and casio complex is situated just outside Gaborone city centre. I was on the 5th floor (executive i think) and the room was spacious, clean and well decorated. There are a couple of restuarants in the hotel complex and the Steak House was very good, i ate there 2 nights running and also ate in the Chinese restaurant... More

In all honesty, somebody's gotta do something about this place. I basically find myself going there every so often all because my boyfriens is a member of their business club, but really, its a shame. Have complained to management ad nauseam... Im not going to go into details but instead point out: Despite the lacklustre service and inadequate 5 star... More

I stayed for 3 days at this hotel while in Gaborone on business. While you cannot compare this to many other 5 star hotels it has a nice relaxing feel and the staff try to be helpful. The rooms are older as previous reviewer has mentioned but I usually just go with the feel of the country I am in... More

I chose it because it was one of 2 5 star hotels in Gaborone. From the outside it looks as if it may live up to the billing. The rooms are old and tired, with carpets that may not have been changed for a decade. The bathroom was tiny and poorly designed and whilst brushing my teeth cut my shirt... More

Second stay in Peermont Walmont which confirms the good points: the personal is very smart and helpfull, and reacts rapidly to any question, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, and there are 3 restaurants with good quality food, in particular a new chineese restaurant. Nice bar at the swimming pool. The price is not low but correct for the... More

5*, I think not. Mind you 5* in Botswana only means they have paid the right person the right amount of money The communal areas are very nice, but the rooms tired and wornout. To be honest the Metcourt next door is nicer, and half price... I would say 3*+, not quite 4*. Also If your a white Guy alone,... More

The Grand Palm management thanks you for your comments regarding the state of our rooms and wish to report that our 1st floor is currently being refurbished. In addition, new furnishings have recently arrived to upgrade the remaining floors. This comprises new sleeper couches, and recovered desk chairs and new Lamp shades. It is regrettable that you were accosted by... More
