This is a charming French run hotel I decided to book due to the recommendations on Trip Advisor. Staff are very helpful and attentitive and there are nice touches such as free laundry, 7 days a week. Rooms are spacious and have a separate alcove with a table and several chairs. Bathrooms are huge and the plumbing and electricity works.... more

Great little place, centrally located in Bujumbura. Easily by-passed from the main road, just a red steel gate and a wall-painted "Botanika". But inside it's amazing. Just a couple of rooms, so reservations are adviseable. Very clean rooms, nice little garden and bar, very safe and excellent manager (speaks fluent English and French). Good restaurant.
