The only place to stay in Buj. Interesting atmosphere, 5km outside Buj town, alongside the UN barracks and visibly hosting a lot of the "war business". At the same time works as a relatively nice beach resort with big pool area. Tropical style rooms. Liked the place. Probably a unique combination of tension and relaxation. more

So this place has a pretty nice location on the shores of the lake and during the rainy season you get a nice view of the Congolese mountains. The beach is nothing to write home about and often has stray dogs on it. The pool area is nice enough but very busy at the weekends with local expats and their... more

The hotel is set outside the city close to the DRC border, over a nice stretch of beach with beautiful views of Tanganyika lake and the mountains around. Unfortunately the room as built with poor quality materials, and are also not well maintained. The service is slow and not very professional. The hotel would be a good 2 star facility... more
