The hotel is in the process of being remodeled. We liked the location since it is close to the airport. The pool is great and it was very nice having meals next to it. The service was great. We ate at the buffet for dinner and breakfast and it was great with big variety of food. Now for the bad.... more

please order your food 1 hour before the extimate dinning/lunch time.... very good juices and very good Hamburger but disgusting pasta... the room are not cleaning and the furnishing are very old. but don't miss the amazing fruits market outside the hotel.... bottle pineapple and mango are delicious.... more

The good location is the only plus of this hotel with a nice swimming pool. Rooms as many other reviews say are not oly old but badly kept up. Sercice is slow and basically non existent from management who doesn't even acknoledge letters. Fodd for those "old enough" will remind you of British food of the 50s and the wine... more

I liked the hotel for the location near the airport. Facilities are ok. it has been one of the better places I have been to in West Africa. The rates are a rip off though. Stayed at the Golden Tulip Accra for 4 nights in MAy 09. After an interesting arrival with about 100 guys trying to get you to take a taxi we eventually found our bus to the hotel.
