My partner and I stayed in the executive sweet in Mufasa lodge while passing through Lilongwe. We had travelled a long distance from Mzuzu further down the country and arrived extremely late at night.Two workers from the lodge had waited well into the early hours of the morning just so they could carry our bags to our rooms.Very kind indeed.The owner was very kind and helpful,and the vibe was very friendly and family orientated.the room that we stayed in was immaculate,with all the basics,a bed, a shower,a table and chair,with a chaise long,fresh towels etc. The breakfast (continental) was free and there was an option of a cooked breakfast at a small fee,,there is a small bar on site,and as the lodge is fairly central, the option of discovering a bustling lilongwe is open to all. There is a post office dwn the road and two small shopping centres,also a bank. we enjoyed our stay here,it was very pleasant. more
