I was at Fatimas's Place twice. It is a great budget place and it is great to meet other backpackers and travel together to other parts of Mozambique. It is a simple place but the best is its atmosphere. Fatima's is well placed near everything. more

Really good location, decent rooms. Secure parking and a safe location with food/internet etc walking distance away Generally clean but could do with an update. One staff member (Dilson) was very very helpful - brilliant. Another was not so good. more

Fatima was a very pleasant surprise. We had a look at their website before we went there and did not expect much. Our double room was basic, but clean and cheap. The food looked great, but we decided to check out Maputo. more

This place is one of the few hostels in Maputo. They're in the Lonely Planet and have a sister location in Tofo, so they're pretty popular and probably use this to get away with charging a lot for not offering much in terms of cleanliness and space.
