This is an absolute gem of a place. Although most visitors I would say are German, they all speak English and the owners speak perfect English. They are extremely helpful and friendly and really care that you enjoy your stay. Meals are served on the patio with all other guests at set times. Food is gorgeous but be mindful that there is not a menu. The evenings are a real treat, sat outside watching the visiting porcupines and meercats. There is a small waterhole close by, we saw a warthog having a bathe. There is a pool in the grounds which is nice and private. The house is massive but we did not see the rooms to stay in. We stayed in a Rondavel. There are only 2 and they are gorgeous BUT remember the roof is made of straw and bugs are attracted to the light at night. If you like camping you will have no problem but you just need to be aware. The Rondavels are large, clean, 4 poster beds with mosquito nets provided, large bathroom with walk in shower.
