A family group of five of us stayed at Nunda, we initially wanted Mahangu but they were full and recommended Nunda. On first impression we were pleasantly surprised and thought the place was great. My fiancé and I were actually looking for somewhere to hold our wedding reception and were getting excited that this may be the place.

The setting is lovely and accommodation is very nice, however unfortunately things very quickly turned sour. Nunda advertise that they can cater for any dietary requirement and at the time of booking with them directly they also asked. It was requested for a Gluten Free (no wheat) diet for my fiancé, which they said would not be a problem and this was reiterated upon our checking in. However, when we went for dinner and asked whether there was wheat in the food we were informed that the set menu starter and dessert did contain wheat. OK, but no other alternative was offered!
