Kiripotib Guest Farm is located about two hours from the Windhoek Airport. The road is tarred until you reach Dordabois (about 1/2 way to the farm) and then the road turns to gravel. Hans and Claudia have owned the farm for 30 years. The unique thing about this farm is the onsite weavery. The rugs are absolutely stunning (made with local wool). Claudia has an onsite jewelry workshop and also a small shop of items from many areas of Africa. She can tell you the stories of origin behind all of the various items. Claudia also owns stores in Swakopmund and Cape Town (Kirikana Art) that sell the same wares.
Room: There are two bungalows on site and we were lucky to have one. There was quite a bit of remodeling going on in the main building and when finished, there will be many smaller, double rooms. I would highly recommend the bungalow. It was spacious, well-decorated, bright and included a kettle and mini-bar.
