Loved Erongo. Best walks we did in Namibia. Extraordinary lunar landscape of granite boulders, like walking on the crust of the earth. The lodge has been the best of our recent tour in namibia. It combines the stunning position, the luxury tent and a warm welcome in a mix that allows you to enjoy the surrounding at the best. Well thought out accommodation, with each chalet feeling remote yet not far from the reception area and restaurant. Chalets are comfortable and well equipped. It's the best of both worlds staying in a posh tent! The setting is totally different; giant boulders abound and defy description. Erongo Wildnerness Lodge is a place that should not be used as a one night stopover (as we did) but rather try to stay for 2-3 nights. The Erongo conservancy isn't a place you can forget in a hurry. The area is defined by the large kopjes (mountains which are seemingly made up of hundreds of boulders of varying sizes). I disagree with the management harsh review. My husband and I got married at the lodge and mangement did everything possible to make our expierience a memorable one, which it was. Great place..great people.. great views! more
