Hotel options in St. Denis are limited and after several false starts (we walked out of one hotel and left another after one night), the Juliette Dodu was a wonderful change. The building is beautiful, the lobby is spacious and well decorated, there is a small swimming pool, and the staff was very friendly. The rooms are small, but bright... more

Le Juliette Dodu is located in a central but quiet part of St. Denis. The hotel is an old charming casa creole. Excellent and charming small-town hotel. Nice public areas even if bedrooms a little small. Resturant is quite good and useful for Sundays and Public Holidays when the rest of St Denis is closed more

Unfortunately we only stayed one night, and a Sunday night at that, at this lovely hotel. It is in a beautiful Creole-style building in a central location not far from the bus station, centre of town and waterfront. We were welcomed by a large friendly dog and an efficient receptionist who, on hearing my woeful French, switched to excellent English.... more
