Cassia Lodge. Accommodation: Large room with huge double bed and big net. Wardrobe, bedside tables, and a balcony with two seats and coffee table. Bed was very comfortable. Rooms are very well appointed, with TV. The net loops around bed to give a cosy four-poster effect. We were amused by a harmless lizard which navigated along the curtain rail, giving... More

Quite place in busy Kampale. A perfect lodge to start and end your safari in beautiful Oeganda The lodge is situated on a hill with great views on the lake. The rooms and restaurant are good, Only the common restrooms needs some refreshment. Service could be improved, we arrived late in the evening 11PM, no welcome drink (was foreseen) and... More

I recently traveled to this hotel, with friends for a farewell dinner. The restaurant has spectacular views of the Kampala/Entebbe area overlooking Lake Victoria. It was especially impressive at night. The food, although higher priced than most in Uganda, was very good and the menu had a variety of international options. Worth the trip for the view of the area!

We stayed at the Cassia for two nights. The rooms are clean and perfectly adequate. Food at the restaurant was decent. Staff was friendly and helpful. The views of Lake Victoria are spectacular. The hotel is a bit of a drive from the center of Kampala (took us almost 3 hours to get there from the airport because of traffic)... More

There's no doubt that this property has a wonderful view of the city and Lake Victoria. A very serene and fresh environment too with well manicured grounds. The rooms are good even though the TVs are so very old! The downside is the service. Badly designed reception (u dont see receptionist if they are seated!) and the day we checked... More

I found the rooms and overall grounds of the hotel immacutely clean and presented. The views were fantastic and I felt that I was in a safe and homely environment (away from the hustle and noise in downtown Kampala). The service was exceptional and I was made to feel very welcome - I was even invited to their annual staff... More

We stayed for 9 nights so had chance to experience the best and worst of this hotel. It's USP is the view, absolutely brilliant! Rooms are ok, not special. Grounds minimal, alright to sit and enjoy view but nowhere to walk to. Pool, good size but freezing. On that subject, the shower in our room, cold for the first 5... More

We stayed in the Cassia Lodge for 6 nights to rest after a 15 day safaritour. This was a good choice: a clean lodge, the staff was very friendly, the food very good surely in accordance with the price, a nice swimming pool, a nice room with an amazing view over Kampala and Victoria lake. It is mostly a very... More

Thoroughly enjoyed my two nights with the Cassia Lodge team. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, rooms clean and air conditioned. There is no secret to the reason most love this place: the view across the lake. It will not disappoint. I spent hours in the restaurant watching the sunrise over the town, or indeed the lights flicker on at... More

I travelled to Uganda with a group as part of a charity project working with a nearby school called Kiddawalime. During the stay we stopped here and it was fanastic. I still go on about it now! The staff was very friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. Me and a friend were shown to our room which was... More
