if we want somewhere with a friendliest, most genuine person in town then this is the place for you. Mr Joshi is very kind and explains everything to you for what to look out for in kathmandu. the rooms are basic but clean and you can book your own room with western toilet and shower if you want. more
I can only agree with the previous reviewer who has given all the relevant details. We stayed at the Dolphin in April 2009 (US$20.00) and it was really like a home away from home. The rooms were small but really clean as was the bedding and towels. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was delightful and a great time to socialise... more

Dolphin GH, Thamel, Kathmandu Back to this GH after several years in May 2007 and absolutely appreciated the owner's hospitality and honesty again!
