I stay here every year. You can see Annapurna range and Lake Phewa from hotel rooms and from the roof. Several excellent restaurants are in walking distance, and the hotel itself has a good restaurant. Travel agents, book stores, mail service, cultural dance programs, rowing on the lake. It's an idyllic setting. And the hotel people at front desk, in... more

what's strange was that we didn't expect the hotel to be this good after staying in several bad places in nepal, their service was good, the front desk people was very good. The only problem we had was the electricity problem, which was through out the country the whole time we were there. The room, bathroom is what you can... more

We had a stunning view of the lake and some of the Himalayas from our window. The room was clean and comfortable, the hotel restaurant was good, and the staff was delightful. The hotel is located very close to the lake and many shops and restaurants. more

Picked the hotel randomly upon night arrival to Pokhara and was pleasantly surprised. Rooms are relatively big, clean and comfortable and the receptionist was very helpfull when asked about travelling options to other areas of Nepal. The restaurant has a great selection of dishes - not only that, but they also taste good and the portions are generous enough to... more

After 4 days stay in Kathmandu, my friends and I travelled to Pokhara by bus. It is a 6 hour drive with panoramic view along the way. This hotel was recommended and arranged for by a Nepalese pastor/trekking guide who was with me. Double room rates were only $25/day (low season rates) and we booked two rooms on the 2nd... more

The Meera Hotel is a simple modest place. We stayed in the East Wing which is newer, and quieter. Even still it would be considered low end by most western standards. For instance, the beds are Nepalese style single thin mattress on a cot like spring meaning there is considerable sag; the TV has a 12 inch screen; the phone... more
