The contrast between the always throbbing shilin area and the grandee hotel is quote remarkable. The hotel is very comfortable, great bathrooms and extremely helpful staff. Literally over the road is shilin market, which is fun to wonder around in the evening and fascinating in the early morning as it turns into more of a food market. Close to the... more

Ideal location , close to the train and bus. THe night market was only 2 minutes away. The hotel was quiet. It was like going into another world after the busy night market and streets.
