This was our first visit to Taiwan and an enjoyable one indeed. I would most certainly recommend Imperial Hotel for their comfortable rooms and excellent services. What impressed us was the friendliness of the staff at Front Office, as well as the staff at the concierge who were extremely helpful and spoke good English especially one, by the name of... more

I had a bad experience with the hotel, let me tell you my story. I stayed at Imperail Hotel for 6 days. When I checked-in, the receptionist asked me for my passport and a credit card, I gave her my passport and my visa card, she used my visa card to authorize it, then she told me it didn't go... more

I stayed four nights at the club floor and enjoyed it very much. Tip: the lunch buffet is very good, including freshly made sushi and a selection of Häagen-Dazs icecream, and not expensive. more

I stayed at the Imperial Hotel for three nights in late May 2007. I found the location to be very convenient: only a 5-minute taxi ride to the National Palace Museum and a 20-minute taxi ride to Taipei 101. I enjoyed the buffet breakfasts and dinners up on the mezzanine level because I never felt rushed and there was always... more

Stayed there from Wednesday to Sunday for work. Room is clean (although a little on the small side) and staff are always smiling, helpful and attentive. The hotel is not in a shopping district (well, not close anyway) like some Taipei hotels. But, a short taxi ride will take you anywhere you want at very little cost. I didn't try... more

I am used to paying a day rate for late check outs but this is the first time I was ever charged for an early check in. I arrived at 7:30 AM with a prepaid reservation. The manager told me that my room would be available at 2:00 PM; however, she had a room available for a 50% early check... more

This is a good small hotel in Taipei. It also has the classic late 70's era feel to it. This hotel was probably a modern high-end hotel back then. I paid extra to upgrade to a Club room and the food at the club lounge turned out to be worthy of the extra cost. All the staff at the hotel... more

Stayed at the Imperial Hotel for the last night of my trip in Taiwan and used their car service to get to the airport. I didn't have to worry about anything and it was a very enjoyable stay. Food was excellent and customer service was great. Extremely clean and modest luxury at a very reasonable price. The bed was more... more

Last week (November 2004) I had to be in Taiwan to conduct a series of training sessions in Taipei. As a venue it happened that the Imperial Hotel had been chosen for this event. I stay in hotels all over the world approximately 100 days a year. All I can say is: Perfect choice! After a long flight from Amsterdam... more
