The hotel is pretty near to the BTS. Maybe 3 mins walk and the surrounding is quiet but safe. There are a few restaurants located along the same street. Light breakfast is provided and there is even a water dispenser on the first floor. So you need not buy your own water. There is a computer for you to use... more

It's true that this hotel has no facility at all (no swimming pool nor gym), not even breakfast served during my stay (according to their website, they provide free light breakfast now: sandwiches, bun and fruit only), but in such a low price, I don't mind to go out for breakfast. You have to use the key card to open... more

i stayed in May 2009 & was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the rooms. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean too. They provide cleaning service daily and new towels are available. Even bedroom slippers are provided. The flooring in the room is parquet wood, i like it. The furnishings look like a very cheery Ikea show... more

I booked a single room by the hotel's own site, but they gave me a standard twin, partly because I arrived at this hotel at 9:00 am (Check-in time is 13:00). The room was clean and spacious for a solo traveler. There were a fridge and a hair dryer. I didn't use the used slippers, because I had my own.... more

POSITIVES: 5-10 minutes from MTR and skytrain, convenient location, clean, 24 hour snack area available (limited to cookies, water, coffee + sandwich for breakfast), free internet access in lobby, friendly staff NEGATIVES: somewhat poor sound insulation in rooms, be aware of refundable 1000 baht deposit BOTTOM LINE: very reasonably priced and nicely decorated inn close to public transport with small... more

We stayed for 3 nights in March, in a Junior Suite which was just fine for our family with a 4 and 6 year old. The hotel had said a Superior Suite is what they would usually recommend for a family but they had none available, and with our young kids the Junior Suite should be fine. And it was... more

I would definitely stay at Inn Saladaeng during my next trip to Bangkok for the following reasons: - the well-designed rooms look brand new and are spotlessly clean, and so do the bathrooms - while our room was small, the hotel definitely splurged the comfortable bed and sheets; - the snack bar by the elevator, which offers complimentary sandwiches, cookies,... more
