I checked in with my sister on the 25th April 13. The reception was friendly and effecient. What you see on the internet is what you get. Room was really spacious and clean. They clean your room and change your towels everyday. At BU Place, you do not have to worry about food. Breakfast, lunch & dinner at the roadside... More

I arrived at Suvarnabhumi airport 5.40am on a Tuesday morning, breezed through customs and immigration, jumped on the airport skytrain rail link and was at Makkasan station in central Bangkok by 6.30am. I flagged down a taxi and arrived at B.U. Place about 10 minutes later. Reception welcomed me warmly and advised it was no problem checking in early. I... More

On arrival I was a bit sceptical of the sign / entrance, but the room was great. Clean, big, fresh white towels and sheets. It looks like it does on the pics. Quite far away from the centre - I walked to the MRT one day and it took about 15-20 mins and then another 20 mins or so to... More

Great hotel, service is remarkable. Hotel isn't as far from the MRT as people would say - it took me less than 10 minutes to walk from the huge shopping plaza/MRT on the old hilly pathways. There is a drop off and pick up option scheduled pretty frequently anyway. I only walked there to go to the plaza, I just... More

This is indeed my "Home away from home" for more than 10 years. I stay here 3 months every year, and I could not stay anywhere else in Bangkok. Staff feels like family. Service is impaccable, the building is super clean.

I stayed here from 25/12/2012 - 02/01/2013. Location - Nearest MRT is Phra Ram 9, which is not really walking distance from the hotel. However, they provide shuttle bus service (with timings) to and fro the hotel and Phra Ram 9 station. Rooms - I stayed in a Superior Studio on the 17th floor, which offers a good view of... More

Good residence style place, decent pool and gym too, good service at the front desk, fair price especially if, like me, you like the fitness options. The street had lots of shops and restaurants so eating and such is easy. It is about a 20 baht motorbike ride to the Rama 9 MTR so not too bad. Overall very pleased... More

My review is based on a review of this location, not a comparison. In that sense this place is excellant. Large secure building, with 24 hour security and a doorman. Wonderful staff. Centrally located in a charming area populated by locals, not tourists. Convenient to transportation and all the necessities; produce, pharmacy, entertainment, etc. Lovely pool and rec room. Hot... My wife got some bites on the first night and the next night my right foot had about 10 bites which i suspect is from bed bugs. Very itchy. Otherwise the room is average. The staff however is spectacularly nice and accommodating. Food from hotel is also not bad. Overall, been a nice stay...except for the bites..
