The Vaboir lodge hotel is in a for most tourists unknown part of Bangkok in an area with a whole lot of shopping possibillities, shops and streetmarkets. To be fair, we had just come from a wonderful hotel in Phuket so our expectations were raised a wee bit, but the Vaboir Lodge came as a disappointment. We recently stayed in Vaboir Lodge Royal Suite in Bangkok which we booked through booking.com on a cheap price of THB1800 for 3 nights for a suite room. Its a nice hotel, clean room, warm and helpful staff but poor location for tourists. If you are in Bangkok for sightseeing, be ready to spend at least 200 baht just to... more
