I don't prefer to stay in Khaosan, because it is too noisy, but this location is away from the noise. It is short walking distance to everything though. The rooms a very basic, but they are clean. Internet is free, but very limited. They charge to leave luggage, which was dissappointing compared to other places in Khaosan. For what you... More

The location is excellent - close to the river for boat travel and very close to Kho San Road, as well as many other attractions. We were able to walk to many places. Great food across the street at KC Guesthouse, especially breakfast. There was no food available at Fortville as the cook had just had a baby. The internet... More

The gh has a great location, it's 5 min away from Kho San Road, also many attractions are in walkable distance, also the river is near, where you can take a boat..what left a bad impression was a rude receptionist at the front desk and the fact that they give you only limited acess to the free internet, what depends... Stayed for 5 nights in late March, $32 USD/night.  I really wanted to like this place. What put me off is that the website advertises free wifi in the rooms but what I got was a code for one device to connect for up to 2 hours in a 24 hour period.  Additional wifi is 40THB for 2 hours. Management... More

Our first impression about the place was really bad after the unfriendly service at the reseption; reseptionist was unkind, did not answer our questions properly and later sold us cupons for the internet for ridiculous overprice (next day there was a really helpful lady at the reseption who adviced us to buy wifi access at the coffeeshop next door and... A great place to stay, far enough away from the noise of Khoa San but close enough to enjoy the action. Less than five minutes walk to the Bars and stalls of Soi Rambrutti (so much better than the road). This place has a great bar on the roof with live music and decent food, and you can get proper... Great Location&easy transport. I choose because it is near the chao praya river since this time I want to have tour to the palace and temples near the river. The transport to the palace is cheap. I go by taxi for 50 bath for 10 minutes(since it's very hot that day- 40c- even though it's 8 am). And when return... More

We spent two nights there. The room was very small, but nice and clean. The staff was friendly, but not too eager to help. Very nice rooftop bar and restaurant. About 5-10 Minutes walk to Khaosan Road, but not so crowded, which was nice. Be careful, people around who try to trick you into these "sightseeing tours" with a Tuktuk... More
