I love Bangkok and Intercontinental Bangkok is my top pick for my stay there. Its a high-rise hotel with large luxurious rooms filled with every amenity you generally expect from a 5* business hotel. High-floor rooms have panoramic views of central Bangkok. The service is efficient but not so personal - typical of a business hotel. The biggest advantage of... more

This was a wonderful stay in a very good location. I accompanied my husband on his business trip, and had a wonderful time exploring Bangkok. While there are cheaper hotels in Bangkok, this one was acceptable for the account budget and a good value. Also: the hotel is step from the elevated transit line, which makes getting around convenient. Room... more

My wife and I stayed at the Intercontinental in Bangkok as part of our honeymoon and we were super impressed. The staff are among the most friendly people on the planet, really attentive, friendly and willing to do anything to assist. Recommendations from the concierge were fantastic (the cooking school recommended was brilliant, and they also arranged to source, purchase... more

Its amazing how often hotels from the same chain can give such a different level of service. I've stayed very often at the Intercontinental in Singapore and have really enjoyed it. However, the Intercontinental in Bangkok is dramatically the opposite in every aspect. First, the positive. The location is excellent. Right next to lots of shopping and dinning options. This... more

I am really a fan of Intercontinentals. They offer the most consistent standard across the global. Much better than the SPG's and even better than some of the Four Season's. The above two don't offer the same level of facilities and service in all the hotels around the globe. The only hotel chain I would consider the same as them... more

I loved our stay in this hotel. I went with a friend and this hotel was our first and last stop on a backpacking trip around Thailand. We were thrilled by the service at this hotel. First this hotel has better amenities in the room than the other Intercontinentals I have stayed at (Cancun and Tokyo). There is an ipod... more

If you are looking for a fantastic hotel (modern and spanking new amenities), with a great location (smack in the centre of the shopping district), excellent service (every request no matter how difficult will be met with a Yes), great views (of the city) – this is it. Rooms Large rooms and extra large bathrooms. All rooms had a great... more

The hotel location is perfect, next to a train station, a walking distance from three shopping malls and hundreds of vendors shops and in an area that is cleaner than other locations. I did not stay at the interCon. Bangkok, but used its health and spa facilities, and it was up to the standards of other InterCon.'s any where else.... more

Overall experience was very good. Location is fantastic as it's right in the centre of the shopping district and there are some good shopping malls close by (Central World, Gaysorn, Siam Paragon). The hotel is right next to Chit Lom BTS Station, so it's very convenient to travel to other parts of the city via BTS (day travel card costs... more

Besides the luxurious rooms and facilities you can expect from a 5 star hotel, the service was exceptionally good. 1. I was allowed early check-in at 10am and check-out at 3pm. 2. Concierge helped us to book a last minute spa service at 9pm which was of similar price range as the spa we originally wanted has closed down. Note... more
