I stay here a lot, not by choice though, it's a company choice. Bathrooms a little worn, didn't like the cockroach in my bed or the security staff late in the evening. Not well locate to train. Shopping ok. Average hotel really. I recommend but there are much better around for the money. There is a fantastic swimming pool! more

Good Hotel, we can consider a 5 star, not a luxury one, but a standard european one. Staff was very frendly. Room great, but ask for the upper floors because of the traffic noise. After lot of surveys as it was first trip, we booked Amari watergate due to location ignoring some other better brands. from the moment we reached to check out , things happened so perfect that kids want to be back next flight back . I spent 8 nights at the Watergate as someone who is familiar to Bangkok and Bangkok hotels. The stay was excellent and certainly up to the standard of any of the better hotels in Bangkok. This is the third time we have stayed here. Great location with markets at your door. The hotel itself is one of the better ones we have stayed in. Great rooms especially the Grand Deluxe ones.
