Stayed on a recent biz trip. Supremely comfortable and very centrally located. Excellent public areas especially if you like old fashioned comfort vs. minimalist modern austere stuff. Nice gardens. Excellent and attentive staff. Only slight disappointment was the rooms, which were very 1980's tired old hard furnishings albeit clean and comfortable. didnt know what to expect being first time in thailand , and being our honeymoon ,but when we got to the hotel after driving through the manic trafiic couldnt believe a little island paradise in the middle of everything around , we was treated and greated like know where we have stayed before , we was upgraded to the dusit... more

The Dusit Thani is definitely still one of the best hotel in Bangkok. Wonderful staff, expecially at the front desk & concierge, well appointed and specious rooms, excellent restaurants. SUPER service! It is always a pleasure to come back as guest here. more

It is a magnificent hotel and retains the old world charm. Its walking distance to the main market. The hotel has a golf driving range, squash courts and a fantastic gym. The highlight of the hotel is the excellent spa and very friendly staff. A great place to stay in high comfort. more

Amazing ... eveything about it is so amazing.... the location.. cleanliness the attentiveness of the staff ...the room... everything. this is an amazingly huge hotel so if you do plan to stay there do ask for a room closer to the entrance or you may have a good 15 minute walk up and down many stairs to reach the elevators... more

We stayed here for one night, and we were put up in a juniour suite. This was a classy room, with a huge bathroom and dressing area! The room had a nice lcd tv and a good view of the city skyline. The service was good. The checkout procedure took a while, but no complaints as such! would recommend people... more

We had a three night stay at the Dusit Thani on a Bangkok stopover on route to Phuket. We have stayed at a few hotels in Bangkok (all excellent) but even though this was our third stay at the Dusit Thani, it never seems to lose its magical appeal that nowhere else ever seems to be able to quite match.... more

I booked into Dusit Club, well worth the extra cost. Great checkin - check out, friendly, attentitive and knowledgable staff. Fantastic facilities, bars, restaurants. Breakfast especially was a wonderful experience every morning. Word of warning, at something like GBP 4.00 per minute, avoid international calls from your room!!
