Nice hotel in the midst of an upgrade. Best thing going for this hotel is the location right next door to Maboonkrong Mall and National Stadium BTS which made navigating Bangkok so easy. We had 5 nights at this hotel and we couldnt fault it. Check in at after midnight was smooth,interconecting rooms given as requested. The rooms were the unrenovated superior and were great,plenty of room.We were not inconvienced by the renovations they started after breakfast and finished late afternoon the noise was hardly noticable. What can I say - awesome location adjacent to the huge MBK shopping mecca; we had half price buffets the entire stay which was the biggest and best array of food we have experienced, buffet breakfast was also an experience. Rooms well laid out, and staff very friendly HINT: find a cheap laundry off a tuk tuk driver!! more

If you want to go shopping in Bangkok, then this is probably the best place to stay. As was mentioned in almost all the previous reviews, the hotel is directly connected to MBK and no more than 10 mins walking to Siam Discovery, Siam Center and Siam Paragon. The skytrain (BTS) is just about 5 min walk through air-conditioned MBK.... more
