First Things First. My Dear Ladies and Sirs, this is no princess. It was under the Dusit group, but since about a year ago, Dusit group does not manage it anymore, and the "Princess" was dropped from the name. It is now Grand China Hotel. If I have nothing to do in Chinatown, I would not go near it. Not... More

Had fairly low expectations as this was a cheap and cheerful choice in China town, so were pleasantly surprised. Chaffer driven from airport, welcomed by the concierge while bellhop took our luggage. The staff were all friendly and helpful, providing guidance both inside and outside the hotel, speaking impeccable English. Rooms were clean and spacious, with an LCD my husband... More

My Wife, myself and son stayed at this hotel for a total of four nights this April 2013. The hotel is located in Chinatown at a major road junction and is one of the landmarks in the area due to its height. Firstly I would like to say that our experience of all the staff at the hotel was very... More

My boyfriend and I stayed over here on our way up to Chiang Mai. It was a gossip for us between this hotel and the Shanghai Mansions. We went with this one purely because the rooms have windows and we didn't want to feel claustrophobic right off the hop in Thailand. Turned out to be the right choice for us.... More

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in March 2013. The hotel is smack bang in the middle of Chinatown, close to everything. A 10 minute walk down to the riverboats and 5 minutes from Sampeng lane and Phaphurat. The hotel is getting old and it was clear to see that it's badly in need of an overhaul. The... More

The hotel is decent. It needs some updating but the staff really took care of us. They do nickel and dime you on some things but overall it is a decent hotel. It is located in the heart of China Town which makes it great for Chinese New Year, which is when we went. It is probably the best hotel... More

We wanted to experience a meal in china town and loved the revolving restaurant views except sadly the windows were grubby, the whole restaurant was run down and tired. We went as a family of 5 after two hours we got 4 bowls of chips and 3 meals all delivered over that period, we never got the remaining dishes and... More

The hotel is located in Chinatown. It was a 30-40 minute drive from the airport with much of the time spent in traffic too. The hotel is surrounded by hustle and bustle with plenty of shops and markets around. We previously researched on TripAdvisor the best way to get from the airport to the hotel and we found out that... More
