The city of Bangkok is not to everybody's liking. the fumes, the noise and bustle can soon offset the temples or the floating market. In contrast, the Hilton is an oasis of comfort, inside and outside, The great swimming pools are elegantly set in the middle of a beautiful palm garden . They use it at night also as a... More

I loved this hotel. My boyfriend and I stayed for a few days whilst in Bangkok. Despite arriving early in the morning we could check in straight away and were upgraded to a nicer room without even asking. The room was lovely and modern, spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. The floor to ceiling windows make the room very light and... More

This hotel is a little out of Bangkok centre, however is literally 2 minutes from the Skytrain, which works out about £2 for full days travel, so is perfect. The holiday company decribes it as a 3* - It is at least a 4*, very clean, very tidy, very upmarket, with a FANTASTIC restaurant. The 8th floor swimming pool also... More

What a wonderful hotel, the staff were lovely, very helpful with excellent suggestions for places to eat and how to get around Bangkok. Bo Lan restaurant is round the corner adn I would highly recommend it for a tasty, authentic Thai meal. More

As this was our honeymoon and just a stop off in bangkok before phuket, the imperial tara was ok, nothing special. The room they gave us was a bit of a let down, it was a room on the side of the hotel and didnt have a balcony which ment we could not open our window, The breakfast was ok,... More

Great value for money, and everything I expected. Clean and tidy room; very nice pool area; well-appointed breakfast; and friendly staff. I like the soi 26 location because it's close to the Phrom Phong BTS skytrain station, and quieter than the more "in your face" locations further down Sukhumvit Road (Nana and Asoke). We had a young child with us,... More

Room was ok nothing special but also nothing wrong with it either. The hotel is a little out of the centre of town but is just five minutes walk from the excellent sky train. The hotel does look a little tired in places but as a base for exploring Bangkok it was great value and comfortable. More

We found the Imperial Tara to be good hotel, its not up-market but adequate for a few nights. The location is poor as there is nothing really close by, there are very few restaurants. The staff are pleasant and courteous. More
