We stayed here for 3 nights in a suite with a spectacular view over Bangkok and the river. The suite was roomy and very tastefully decorated - and the flower arrangements were beautiful! What impressed us the most however was the service - they really run a slick machine at the peninsula. Room servicing magically occured whenever we were out... more

Without any doubt this is a 5 * hotel. The service from the moment you arrive to the second you leave is 1st class and you don't need to be dressed in your finary to get this service either I arrived at 8.30am after spending 5 days treking in Northern Thailand so I looked more than a little out of... more

This is one of those hotels that you remember. No corners have been cut, the facilities are amazing, there are more staff busily attending to guests' needs than is imaginable... The location is wonderful and serene - even in the middle of the busyness of Bangkok! The public areas of this hotel are truly breathtaking. The elegant and tasteful decor... more

The Peninsula is a superb, riverside hotel. Yes, it is on the wrong side of the river from town but when you consider the bustle of Bangkok, that expanse of water - easily negotiated on the regular hotel ferry - is just the distance you would want to keep between civilisation and you. The rooms are luxurious and each has... more

Last summer we stayed at the Peninsula and it was truly wonderful. The service was exemplary, the lobby was beautiful, and the guest rooms with river views were well appointed and very comfortable. The location is great as it is away from the noisey center of Bangkok and it was nice to be on the river, especially since the Peninsula... more

I have just recently returned from the Peninsula Bangkok for a 2 night stay. Got a good rate through Gold Medal including complimentary breakfast and an upgrade from deluxe to grand deluxe room. The Peninsula organised a mercedes executive limo pick-up from Bangkok airport via e-mail for a standard rate of 2,700 baht (£51) and this was a great start... more

We stayed for 2 wonderful nights in this superb hotel. The location was ideal, the hotel truly fantastic and the staff could not do enough to help us. The restaurant on the river side was so relaxing and the food amazing. We could have stayed for a week! This hotel really is one of the best we have stayed in... more

The Peninsula certainly lives up to it's reputation. From Arrival to Departure we were met with nothing but friendly, professional service. The level of professionalism from every single staff member is to be applauded. And we used quite a few services in our short stay - River Cafe and Terrace, Thiptara Restaurant , The Bar, Peninsula Pool Bar, Concierge, Business... more
