Stayed in the Banyan Tree with 9 other people (including my girlfriend) for 1 night. We also stayed in the Conrad and Metropolitan hotel too (See my other reviews). If you want something slightly cheaper, but more funky in a chic minimalist style (with very "cool" bathrooms), then the Met is for you. For more luxurious experience and nicer rooms,... more

Great spacious room, with separate living and working area (for deluxe room) - bathroom is large, with spa amenities. I love their GREEN initiatives (no bottles for shampoo, etc.. all is refillable). Furniture is a bit old, they have 2 TVs but TV is still the tube kind from the 90s... (come on Banyan Tree, we deserve a Flat Screen... more

My first time here...let's be clear about the 5 star thing. I would call the Banyan Tree a 5 star hotel but equally I would label the Mandarin Oriental and Penninsula as 6 star hotels if you get my meaning? Positives: their limo service is high quality, their restaurants are possibly some of the best in town, their service and... more

When you are first greated at the entrance with flowers and concierge, you are whisked away into a land of make believe. In the middle of the hustle and bustle of Bangkok you have a place that seems to not fit there... The hotel itself is elegant and traditional thai whilst also being contemporary. We only stayed one night (money... more

We managed to get a Club Room at a very decent rate from Asiarooms.com and loved every moment of our stay at the Banyan Tree. It is worth everyone of its five stars and every penny we paid and more. Our room was massive and modernly furnished. Our deal included access to the club lounge including drinks and canapes, a... more

Sometimes its nice to splash out. When you do you like it to be worthwhile, and when I stayed at the Banyan Tree in Bangkok I was not disappointed with the decision. Come in, take a load off in this beautifully designed relaxing property. The staff are attentive and comfortingly pleasant, the rooms are intersting and beautifully designed and faultless... more

Just stayed at this property for the first time and was very stratified. Standard suite was nicely furnished and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a variety of foods served that changed daily. The gym, pool and spa are very nice, well maintained and served very well by staff. The view from the Roof Top bar is breathtaking and... more
