It's been a while since i stayed in this hotel, however, there are so many more hotels in Bangkok that are better than this particular hotel. Decent rooms, decent service, the location could have been better. more

Stayed at the Royal River Feb 2007 for a couple of nights on our way down to Krabi. Although a little out of the way its was well worth the taxi ride, the room was clean and spacious, staff friendly, breakfast was great, would certainly recommend and would stay again next time we visit Bangkok more

Good hotel, we stayed for 4 nights..the breakfast is FANTASTIC, well worth it@! Loved going on the river boat to chinatown, easy way to get there. Yes the hotel is out of the way, but depends what people want personally? You want a hotel in the middle of loud and extremely polluted Bangkok CBD??? Then so be it. Restaurants nearby... more

As our Intrepid tour of South-East Asia started at this hotel we had decided to stay here.Once upon a time I think this hotel was great...it has all the attributes needed for a good hotel, but sadly its been neglected so that it is just an average place. Its on the river with a nice view, but too far out.One needs to take... more

My wife and I were on tour of Thailand and only stayed 2 days at that hotel. Very nice hotel and rooms. Very clean. Very good breakfast buffet. We had dinner only once at the hotel and were disappointed. Lots of good and inexpensive reastaurants nearby. Walking distance from Lotus supermarket (20 minutes). The internet cafe across the street is... more

This hotel is very pretty but staff is very rigid in lots of things...the internet cafe has no printer and they would not print out my boarding pass for me. They would not let me take my coffee cup from breakfast back to my room. They do not speak English well at all..but hey, just be honest. I would not... more

Had to make a same day reservation due to bad weather elsewhere, before flying in to Bangkok. Chose the 3-bedroom suite on their website to insure that we had three rooms on the same floor. What a (good) surprise! It came with a huge living room, 3-bedrooms, three-baths, balconies on three sides, dining area, wet bar, and in pretty good... more

situated on the rivers edge this hotel is actually a good place for many tourist locations. It is easy and fun to jump on the riverbus (stop located 150m from hotel) to visit Palace of the kings and many other places of interest. (incidently the riverbus is a good way to see Thais going about their daily business - you will... more

As stated in previous reviews, the location is so inconvenient for touring, shopping, going out at night, the hotel's positives seem irrelevant. more

The reservation staffs are helpful and willing to help you .You have to pay for Internet accesss by purchase card from hotel around 200 bath per hour .
