Bangkok Palace Hotel is located very close to the commercial, shopping, and entertainment areas of Bangkok... called Pratunam. It is almost walking distance for those who don't mind evening strolls! So you can walk over to the most happening area of Bangkok within minutes. Great location. The hotel is extremely luxurious and huge... the rooms are cozy and well decorated... more

This trip was my only trip to Bangkok this year as I will be there every year to shop and for the nightlife. This is maybe my eleventh times to Bangkok but it was so totally different from my previous outings. I was there with my family and friends, a total of eight adults and one child. The moment when... more

I think the rooms and hotel amenities have been covered enough by previous reviews so I will just mention the location. This hotel is in Pratunam area of Bangkok which is quite a good area but the hotel is in a bit of a run down street with a shanty-town and motorway next to it. Other reviewers have said it... more

I'll cut short the story just to say that the room I was first given was infested with bed bugs. I had at least 20 over bites. As if that wasn't enough, when I requested to change rooms, the other room ALSO HAD BED BUGS! And I din't even have to sleep in it. When I walked in to inspect... more

Stayed here for 3 nights before travelling in Thailand. Very good value hotel. We managed to get a room upgrade which was a very good sized room with good facilities. The location of the hotel is the only let down we found. It is in a very run down area of the city and takes a long time to get... more

We stayed for 3 nights before travelling to Phuket, on arrival our room was upgraded, can not fault the room or the hotel it was nice for the nights we had there, the location was not so good it was in a very scruffy area with the busy express way on top of it, we found it difficult to find... more

We were here for 2 nights before we transferred to Pattaya and, I believe the vernacular to be, OMG!!! You pull up under an elevated highway into a dingy and quiet front door reception, and then walk in to one of the most ostentatious lobbies I have ever seen with gold and pictures of the king and a lovely little... more

this is a good quality, well priced budget hotel offering good value for money. breakfast is plentiful and of reasonable quality. rooms are clean and well maintained. Outside leaves a lot to be desired as the hotel is under a motorway and the skytrain is directly overhead. However once inside the hotel is nice. overall, dont expect to be too... more

The breakfast spread was a nice surprise! Rooms- A little old, musky. But CLEAN! Pretty spacious. Comfy bed! Service standards- Okay you could probably find plenty of locals who smile more. They are helpful though! Location- Blah. more
