Unico Leela Hotel - Location compare other hotel in bangkok is quite good, simply decorat. We were the first visit for Superior room (newly renovated) it was nice, enough facilities for limited budget traveler.. should prepare hair-dryer in the room, safety box was easy-used.... after renovated it's a new hotel you shouldn't miss! more

As soon as I landed in Bangkok I was offered this hotel by the travel agency at the airport. I was tired already and the Hotel looked OK in the pictures so I booked it. I spent the most uncomfortable night ever ! ! ! The room was the ugliest and the most humid room I ve ever seen. I... more

Spent 4 nights there. Place is a bit odd really. Plush lobby but budget tourist rooms. One little window that you can't open or see through. Internet was free and useable. A bit of a hike from Sukhumvit at the shabby end of soi 3. The area should pick up when the new rail link to the airport opens. no... more

Been on a vacation here on my last birthday with my friends. We were plainly looking out for the "cheapest" place to stay. Here are some pro-cons Pro: Amazing location (not in terms of view) but in terms of proximity to food, drink, train station, taxis and overall the centre of many tourist destinations. You can even avoid the main... more

The lobby is indeed adequate but the rest is way overpriced. My family stayed here only because nearby hotels we have used before were fully booked. The staff was friendly enough but not overly so. The rooms were very small and poorly designed. It was basically a long hallway with only about three feet at the end of the bed.... more

Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights in feb 08 before visiting other parts of Thailand. The hotel reception is lovely but this cannot be said for the rooms. I was ill as soon as I arrived at Bangkok so I did not eat very much at breakfast (Apparently it is known as Bangkok belly and can be... more

After reading some of the reviews from 2006 I think they may have updated the hotel a bit because I didn't think it was that terrible nor did I find a single cockroach in my room. Our room was smaller than expected, as with most hotels, but it was clean and the towels were in good shape. The bed was... more
