My friend and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in February. Getting from the airport was nto an issue, though do expect to spend about 40-50 minutes and ca. 400 Baht. I would advise to print out the driving directions from either mapquest or any other source, translate them via translate google com and give the directions to... more
The hotel was good overall. The staff was nice and friendly. The rooms were clean and good size. The breakfast was very nice with good variety of items. Some staff such as the conceirge were helpful. Its always a good tip in asking them before hand what will be the price fo any taxi or tuk-tuk journey. The location was... more
I should have known something was up when the guy assigning taxis at the airport pronounced the hotel as the "RAMA" da--the place of RAMA. This has pretty much become an Indian hotel. Not that there;s anything wrong with that, but you should at least know you will be swamped by large Indian families and tour groups in your effort... more
The hotel is magnificent and we have never experienced such incredible service before. It was so lovely that it was hard to drag ourselves away from the hotel to go to the theme parks at all. we couldn't wait to get back to the peace and tranquility of the hotel. more
Stayed here for two nights during a stopover in Bangkok. The hotel was very helpful with transportation to and from the airport, though it was more expencive than a regular taxi. The hotel itself was okay. The rooms were a bit tired, but clean. I found it a bit strange that it was easier to find the pricelist for damaging... more
We stayed here for one wk in march, on the 17th floor. The room was lovely with a great bathroom with seperate shower. We had a delux room, which had slippers and bath robe. The bed and pillows were a bit hard, but i think thats the norm in thailand. Breakfast was ok with enough to fill you up. Hotel was... more
We spent 13 days at the Ramada D'ma (it used to be called the D'MA Pavillion) Having read the reviews we expected to have a view from the window of a blank wall, and I can understand that some rooms will have this - but we were upgraded without asking, and had a wonderful view of the city from the... more
We stayed here at the end of our trip to Thailand. Booked through expedia and got a great rate. The hotel also upgraded us to a bigger room as we were staying for 4 nights. We thought the location was good. It was a bit hard to find to begin with as there is another hotel with Ramada in its... more
This hotel is absolutely lovely. I wished we had found it first. The food is wonderful though there is plenty around outside if you like. The pool a saviour in the heat. This one is on my top list. The breakfast is amazing I have never seen such a selection. You walk away hungry then you are too fussy more
