Stayed in the Krungthep wing when we stayed in Bangkok after our trip to Cambodia. The service is really great when you stay in Shangrila. Top notch service as usual. You can never go wrong when choosing this hotel. Great location too just beside the train station and the water station which is very convenient to travel around the city. more

On check-in we were offered a discounted rate to upgrade to the Krungthep wing which was good value as it included breakfast, canapes and cocktails in the evenings. This hotel is simply beautiful. We had a Horizon Club room and on arrival were led upstairs to check-in on a different floor. We were given a drink of our choice as we arrived between the two hour evening happy hour for Horizon Club members.
