Nothing else to say PERFECT for the price you pay, and if you book quite in advance you have a suite for 6O, 65 eur, plus BF and free internet. I moved here because the Shangri-La was undergoing construction--President did not disappoint. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The only place I'll stay in BKK. more
This was our second stay at the Solitaire in a premium suite. I booked direct and the total cost was actually £50 cheaper than our stay the same time last year ! Stopped over here for two night on the way to Phuket from UK Reasonably cheap hotel and handy for local amenities and sky train station for travel further afield. Nice restaurant with good food and attentive staff and a good spa facility to boot Would recommend more
Stayed there in Oct for my 2009 birthday with my boyfriend....cant imagine for this gd rates could got a room in this good quality,staffs are friendly and nice ...especially for the free 30mins hot stone massage,the masseuse really professional and very polite to me even it was complimentary!!! I was at the hotel along with my friends, on our way back from Phuket. The rooms were absolutely fabulous...Clean, well decorated with all the luxuries- plasma tv, dvd player, music system, microwave etc...and yet had enough space to allow me to work comfortably or leave things lying around without the room looking messy. Going back to the President Solitaire after about 8 months was like coming home. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi the doorman's "welcome back, sir" was a pleasant surprise (since this time I'd shaved off my beard).
