The hotel was pleasant, staff friendly and the room was cosy. The manager at the reception was extremely helpful and even upgraded us to executive room. The hotel is a hop-skip-jump away from Sukhumvit and a leisurely few minutes away from the sky train. Overall a good hotel for families and/or tourist on a budget. Even has a children's pool. more

There was a large safety... more

We stayed here 29th to 31st August 2009. We've stayed in the Bel Aire Princess on our last trip (2008). Hotel Manhattan was no better or no worse. It catered to all our needs and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Give them a smile and they will smile back and be helpful for your trip. The hotel is... more

Normally I consult TripAdvisor before booking any hotels and I don't know how I missed the bad reviews on the Hotel Manhattan in Bangkok, Thailand. We were booked there for a 7 day stay~ luckily in the middle of it we took off for 2 days in Cambodia. This hotel is by far the worst I've ever experienced and it's... more

The Manhattan is a bit tired but they are renovating it bit by bit. The corridors need new carpets and a coat of paint. The prices have increased for approx $A 37 a night to around $A57 per night on our last stay. There is a pool which is average sized and it is fine to cool off in and... more

We had a day in Bangkok before we started our Asia trip. The Manhattan is in a good location but that and the fact that it has a pool is about all the nice things that can be said about it. The hotel looks like it needs to be renovated. The room and hallways look very tired. It does have... more
