Stayed at Room@Silom in Feb 09 having previously had a good stay there in Feb 2008. The place has really deteriorated. The rooms are full of bed bugs/insects. The management seems to have changed and not interested in customer service at all. The staff is not friendly and looks fishy. Changed over 5 rooms in an hour and all of... more

BED BUGS! I have stayed at this hotel (as the Trinity Hotel and now Rooms@Silom) about 6 times over the past 3 years and have enjoyed each stay. In November 2008 however I was bitten by BED BUGS (42 bites requiring treatment with antibiotics and antihistamines) in room 305. I was given a room upgrade and 1 nights refund. After... more

Stayed at room@silom in March 09 having previously had a good stay there in 2008, The place has deteriated. Would certainly not stay there whilst their refurbishment is going on as the management seem more interested in keeping the builders happy than the customers! The breakfast service is absolutely non existant and the staff at breakfast were the most miserable... more

Hotel was difficult to find and taxi drivers didn't seem to know where exactly it was at (you gotta enter through Soi Piphat or something like that). Check in was normal, and we were given an oldish-looking room with outdated decor and an uninspiring view out. The room was reasonably clean, but carpet was old, so were the sheets. The... more

A friend of mine booked this hotel as it was cheap: True that a room for EUR 20 is a bargain but here my story: I was dubious after reading the comments from Tripadvisor but I did not want to upset my friend so I did not say anything... First we had booked 2 rooms but arriving at 12 noon... more

Dumpy hotel. Not seedy, but a vaguely depressed feeling in both decor and service. Barely tolerable breakfast. Really dubious carpet in the room. Strange bed that felt like a sheet spread over a cardboard box. Would absolutely not stay here again. more

Presently named Room@Silom, but better known as "Trinity Silom", not many locals know about this place, including taxi drivers and the girls from Patpong just around the corner. Luckily, the hotel is right next to Chong Nonsi BTS, so tell your taxi driver to go there instead. The location is a short stroll from Patpong, which was the reason we... more

I stayed here from April 18 - 20, 2008. At first the rooms looked okay, not great, but the price was good for Silom. One evening after work, I walked in the room and it reeked like bug spray. I asked the maid about this and she said there were bugs near the the floor boards...great.. Little did I know,... more

Booked this on Asiarooms.com for £20 a night for 2 people breakfast included. Great location 20 metres off Silom Rd and same distance to Skytrain. Great market and local food stalls almost outside the front of the hotel and the famous Pattpong night market is only 3 stops on the Skytrain The pool was in the Trinity complex facing the... more

We chose this hotel because we wanted to stay in Silom and not spend to much money on accommodation, which we ended up regretting. The taxi driver had a really hard time finding the hotel which was hidden in a alley in Silom. The pool was actually in a different building- so you had to get a voucher from the... more
