Remember to print the taxi card and take along with you, good to have a spare one in Thai writing. This applies for all hotels in Bangkok. The breakfast spread is good. Room is clean and just nice for me. Price is reasonable but quite a walking distance to the main road. Received welcome drink upon check in, that's a... more

The hotel was ok, and had normal western bathrooms and amentities. The staff was very nice. The great thing about this sort of just adequate hotel is the fantastic location! The hotel was in a fun hussle-and-bussle area. Near all the shopping (including the massive malls connected by the skywalk) and great places to eat - including the little soup/noodle... more

Having read some of the reviews I can only say that those who dont like this hotel really should pay more and stay in the luxury ones. PJ Watergate is clean and comfortable. Sure the rooms are not huge but they not small either. The staff are great and the breakfasts are the best in Thailand. A huge selection and... more

Situated in a decent area , the hotel from outside looks nice , it has a cofee shop , a bar , internet cafe , inhouse massage parlour . The problem was with the room, i opened our window and their was the slum right opposite , we asked for a change and they said the opposite side rooms are... more

First of all, do not book with the travel desk (located just outside baggage claim) at the airport (BKK). If you do happen or need to book with the travel desk, book only for one night so that you can change hotels if needed. The hotel location (Pratunam area) is great, but that is pretty much all that is good... more

I look at the other reviews of this hotel and can't help but chuckle to myself when one guest asked for a window. Well, in our stay from 11 - 15 April 2009, we had a window, but it also came at a ghastly price! Being the first to step into the room, I went straight for the yellow curtains,... more

not a good choice. Our room was horrid and noisy with noise coming from everywhere. As a building one of the worst we stayed in, and suspicious yellow stains on laundry. EWWWW. However staff were nic and seemed a bit embarassed by what thay were trying to sell which makes up fo a bit. more

I stayed at PJ’s in Oct 2008. PJ’s is good for what it is. Safe for female travelers traveling alone. I booked through asiarooms.com as it offers the best price. (1000 Baht.) $30. US. NOTE: Request a room above the 1st floor and you’ll be fine. ~The 1st floor rooms are bad. I stayed on the 5th floor and it... more

We booked a standard double room (with breakfast) through a travel agent in Phuket at a reasonable rate of 1500 baht per night. On arrival the hotel exterior does not look too bad although to get there you have to drive down a typical Bangkok soi with all the usual goings on by man and beast. Check in was hassle... more
