Have stayed in many hotel in BKK but Rose is hard to beat. Noice pool and execise room with Patpong and all its craziness right down the street. Hotel is safe, very friendly and efficient. I got an expensive pair of eyeglasses at Paragon Mall and then lost them. I knew I left them on the plane and was angry... more

We were v. impressed with the hotel service. It has got the best swimming pool in silom and suriwong area . Ruen Urai Restaurant is the most famous restaurant among the locals and foreigners we stayed for three nights. Perfect start to our trip. They have also one of the well known tailor shop Savile Row in their shopping arcade and... more

Rose Hotel was situated in a fantastic location, just off Soi Patpong and about 5-10 minutes from the Patpong skytrain station and Asok metro station. We booked a standard room, which was clean and had all the basic mod cons (fridge with minibar / tv / toiletries / safe / ensuite etc). And even though it was situated in Patpong,... more

This is a 70's (?) hotel, recently refurbished. Very close to Patpong, so you are a little walk from tourist scene (bars, go-go, fake watches, etc.) Staff very friendly. Swimming pool area really nice, but it is too small and you don't get too much sun: soon enough the area is under the other buildings shadows. Regular breakfast. Sometimes, they... more

We were very disappointed in the Rose Hotel. I booked the hotel in advance on the internet for our stays in Bangkok before and after our trip to Chiang Mai. When I arrived - my Thai girlfriend would arrive later that day - the staff seemed shocked when I told them I had a reservation. After about ten minutes the... more

Stayed 3 nights here, was satisfied. Yes, the alleys around the hotel is skanky but there is a 7-11 and a very good seafood restaurant. The new Meridian hotel is smack right in front of it. If you enjoy the nightlife, then this hotel is right for you. Condoms provided in rooms. Its that kinda hotel. I stayed on level... more

This is a great little hotel thats been refurbished. I actually landed in Bangkok on a last minute trip, hadn't made any reservations as I knew there was a desk at the airport with hotel prices and such and since I was familiar with Sa Le Daeng MRT Station in Pat Pong, I asked for a hotel at my budget... more

I recently stayed in this hotel and must say I was surprised that it's standard was above my expectations for the price. The location tops for the Patpong night life & markets; decor was modern; the room clean; the staff friendly & helpful; the food tasty and the overall service good. My only problem was the matteress which is well... more

As an 'old timer' having stayed at the Rose almost every year over the last 20 or so years, I'm afraid their new revamped look might be encouraging, but service has plummeted. First of all they screwed up my reservation, which was made by a friend staying at the hotel a few days prior to my arrival. He went to... more

My normal hotel in Bangkok was sold out so I took a couple of hours just walking into nearby hotels. I normally would have ignored the Rose. It was down a somewhat long dismal alley. The exterior was drab, but once inside all was okay and the room rate was good. Nice staff. Totally satisfactory room and they had a... more
