The room we stayed in was very tiny, enough for a double bed and not much more. The mattress was extreeeeemely saggy, at least it wasn't too hard. However it was clean, cheap and right in the heart of the action on Khao San Road. Choice of banana pancakes or fruit salad for breakfast. Pancakes for the win!! more

I stayed at another sawadee chain hotel before I came to Bangkok. Compare with the other hotel, Sawadee Khaosan inn room is better. It was more expensive too. Most staff can speak english. Breakfast supplied with only small portion according the meal choice. Not like other hotels buffet style. Bathroom is small. TV reception is poor. The worst is no... more

I stayed at this hotel for one night only (before moving to a much nicer one) with wife and kid in december 2007. We didn't feel particularly welcome at arrival and only fatigue made us check in in the first place. Our room was the largest they had (I think), but in no way spacious. Very run down, not excactly... more

I could not find the guest house I wanted so searched the area. This place is set within some shops and the reception desk is a little lost from view. I viewed the room which was quite basic looking with A/C and TV, and hot shower, 600 baht per night and a strange key deposit of 500 baht. I stayed... more

It is unusal for me to write a bad review, but unfortunately this time I have to. Staying at this hotel was the worst decision I made on my 3 month trip. I booked on a website, but had walked past it on the street before and thought it looked OK. However, the rooms were dirty and smelly and when... more

Do not stay here. I booked the most expensive room-double suite for 950 bhat per night. I found bed bugs everywhere so demanded a new room. This room the aircon did not work. A third room seemed ok but an hour later I woke up with huge bed bugs all over myself. Ugggggghh! I left rapidly never to return. Zero... more

We stayed here for 3 days. A bit in a backstreet but easily reachable. Very small room the bathroom isn't bigger than a poststamp, but it was clean. Good breakfast. Not totally safe. our window, which gave out on the hallway, didn't really lock. more
