The Diamond House is situated close to Khao San Road. It is also within walking distance of the Grand Palace. However, it is also next to a main road so it is a little noisy. we could only book in after 2pm which to be honest was a little frustrating after being on a long flight. i thought the rooms were a little small but to be honest we werent there to stay in the hotel room so not a complaint more of an observation. the staff were really friendly and the food was good.... more

If you want something fairly modern close to Khao San this hotel is okay. The main cafe area is very welcoming and cozy after the streets of Bangkok. The service is excellent, and staff very friendly. The rooms are fairly clean (we saw one cockroach in the room and a few ants but this may be typical of the area).... more

Diamond House did not disappoint at all. The staff are excellent and speak high quality English and the rooms are spacious, stylishly decorated and delightfully clean. Everything is new and functioning, and the shower and toilet are excellent. The restaurant is very good, if a little dear compared to what you might pay in local restaurants, but it's worth it... more

I have stayed in many bangkok hotels in the 1000-2500baht range and booked this one to be close to Khao san rd but not right on it. I paid 1600bt for a deluxe room (superior were 1200) and was a little dissappointed to find it a tiny 3m x 3m floor area with an exposed concrete beam with peeling paint... more

We did stay at this hotel because was next to the Lamphu tree (that we loved) and we thought to stay around the same area (KAO SAN Road). This hotel is completely something else...
