You will need to check latest prices, but this place once offered excellent value and has a pool, I believe. The breakfast is ordinary and I have noted the recent comment about the Internet Cafe. Let's hope there has been a positive response and/or solution. Location is also an important consideration, since it will not be convenient for those seeking... More

This property is very basic (Holiday Inn grade), but it is clean and close to many attractions. It is next to the Dusit Zoo & the original Vimanmek Teak Palace. It is a 100 THB ride from the major shopping areas of downtown Bangkok. Also important, it is in one of the quieter areas of town, and is also part... More

This is a budget hotel operated by Suan Dusit Rajahbhat University, and in fact some of the employees are actually students in the university's hospitality and travel program. The breakfast was basic but more than adequate for my needs, including both thai and western fare. The location is great if you plan to visit Vimanmek Mansion, which is right across... More

Great hotel and a great price. Freindly staff. Nice location, good for walks around the King's residence or trip to zoo. Very easy to catch a taxi also to travel to other parts of Bangkok. Nice Catholic Church not too far away. Breakfast is OK. Internet is slow. Rooms cleaned nice everyday. Laundry service is outstanding and very inexpensive! Nice... More

Hotel is not ranked as claimed to be award winner. Staff made an effort to give a friendly service but very poor communication skills. 1. Major problem is the internet cafe. The cafe has too many children after school hours. The hotel's employees of the hotel have been using the internet cafe for child care after school. Children are stay... More

The Suan Dusit Hotel is attached to the Hospitality teaching facility of the Suan Dusit University. The rooms are a bit dated, but very clean and the staff are friendly. It is in the Dusit/Thewet area of Bangkok, just around the corner from the Zoo and across the road from the Vinmanek Mansion. It is easy to get to the... More
