Kavil is down a quiet soi near Thapae Gate in the old part of Chiang Mai. It is very convenient for the Sunday Market and easy to get to other locations with songthaews and tuk-tuks. It has a friendly, family type atmosphere - the staff are great. Rooms are clean and the prices excellent. The lobby also serves as a small eatng/drinking area. I was wondering when I started this review why I was the first but it has occurred to me now - maybe Kavil is the best kept secret in Chiang Mai! Oops, secret is out now - dam! more
