For those attracted to this hotel by the Novotel name, be prepared: this is the Novotel that time forgot. I don't think this hotel has been redecorated in 40 years. Good- Next to a supermarket, beauty salon and optician nearby Bad - a little outside of the city, old. Not up to Novotel standards that we've stayed in the past. Yes, it is a big hotel and yes, it is located slightly outside the city centre, but it has really fantastic, modern, clean rooms and common areas, helpful staff, a decent size pool and an in-room massage service (and a very convenient shuttle servie to the night market!). Our room was only US$20 per night. - an absolute steal!!! more

My partner and myself stayed here for 3 nights in April 2007. This Hotel was comfortable and great value for the price. Breakfast was included in the room and this was always fresh and had lots of choice.
